KEEPING OUR EYES ON JESUS

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us. Heb 12:1

As one begins their walk with Jesus the realization comes that it is a race and as in any race one must keep their focus on completion.  The eyes of Jesus draws us, as we fix our eyes upon him.

But mine eyes are unto thee, O GOD the Lord: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute. Ps 141:8

As in any race the course will have obstacles.  Those obstacles can be people who disappoint us, sin in ourselves, sin in others, hurt, illness, money, depression and of course the list can go on and on.

But know

that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. Heb 4:14

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Heb 4:16

The best part of this race is that Jesus is not only waiting for us upon completion, but is with us very step we take and because of his death and resurrection  we have power in him.

A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Ps 91:7

Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal escape. Ps 141:10

And so we look only upon the face of our Lord, Jesus Christ

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Heb 12:2

Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.

Ps 25:15

Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. 1 Cor 9:24

Just keep walking towards His Glory not looking to your right or left but stay on course with your eyes  fixed on HIM.

There is a song that I often sing when life requires it.

Turn your eyes upon Jesus and look towards in His wonderful face and the things of this earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His Glory and Grace.

Word for the Week

"God didn't create us for time,
but for eternity"

Welcome to Kristine's Ministry website. World wide there is so much happening right now. Political powers are at war.  In the U.S. where I live our new elected President is setting the stage for many of the prophecies of the bible to come true. The antichrist is on the rise.  It's a time to be sober-minded and vigilant. Don't let the cares of this world consume you distracting you away from being watchful.  It is a time to put our lives in order. We as believers in Jesus Christ must unite our hearts around the world and stand strong in our faith. Soon many events could take place changing the world we live in. In the U.S. the government is slowing robbing the people of their freedom. I am urged by the Holy Spirit to send a message of vigilance.  I Thess 5:6 "Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. I Peter 1:13 "Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ."

Sermon on the Mount

Blessed are the poor in spirit,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn,
  For they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
For they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
    For they shall be filled.
Blessed are the merciful,
    For they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart,
    For they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
For they shall be called sons of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.

Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
Matt 5:3-12

How To Let Go

To let go  is not to deny the situation, it is to finally accept it.

To let go does not mean I stop caring about the other person it means I can't do it for them..

To let go is not to cut myself off, it is the realization that I cannot control another person.

To let go  is not to condone ungodly activities, but to free the other to learn from natural consequences.

To let go is to admit powerlessness, which means the outcome is not in my hands.

To let go is not to try to change or to blame another, I can change only myself.

To let go is not try to fix the situation for them, but to be supportive..

To let go is not to judge and reject them, but to believe in the results God can bring forth.

To let go is not to be protective, it is to permit another to face reality.

To let go is not to regret and be sorrowful about the past, but to grow and live for the future.

To let go is not to be disloyal nor to forget the person, but to move forward and pray.

Matthew 11: 28-30
