If a person knows scripture and the power of God, he or she knows that God can prosper, heal, guide, empower, comfort, sustain, enable, inspire, renew, exhort, challenge, motivate, forgive, love, listen and perform an unlimited number of other grace-filled actions for the benefit of His people. On the other hand, when we try to meet human need by resorting to human reason that compromises scripture, we are demonstrating that we do not believe scripture or the power of God's Word. Only when we "believe" can God prosper us and restore us. |
